These Terms & Conditions apply to this website and to The Battery Camp, both operated by Teagan Kavan and her team ("we," "us" or "our"). By using this site, registering for camp or signing up for messages, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or register.
You may use this site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not misuse the site, interfere with how it works, try to access it in unauthorized ways, or submit false information through our forms.
The text, photos, graphics, logos and other content on this site belong to Teagan Kavan or are used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without written permission. Other names, logos and marks shown on the site belong to their owners, and showing them does not mean those owners sponsor or endorse us.
The Battery Camp is independently organized by Teagan Kavan. It is not sponsored, endorsed or operated by The University of Texas at Austin, its athletics department, the NCAA or any athletic conference.
Products shown in the Shop are sold and fulfilled by third-party stores, including Athlete's Thread, BreakingT, Passes and Patched. When you buy from one of them, that store's own terms, prices, shipping, return and privacy policies apply, and the store is responsible for your order. Prices shown on this site may change. For order questions, contact the store directly or reach out through our order and product support form.
Camp registration must be completed by the camper's parent or legal guardian. The early bird price is $195 per camper for registrations through October 31, 2026, and $249 per camper starting November 1, 2026. Payment is accepted by Venmo or cash at check-in. Each session is limited to 30 pitcher spots and 30 catcher spots, and spots are first come, first served.
Campers must be physically able to take part in softball activities and should bring their own glove and appropriate gear. Campers are expected to follow coach and staff instructions at all times. We may remove a camper whose behavior is unsafe or disruptive.
Softball involves physical activity and a risk of injury, including injuries from thrown or batted balls, equipment, collisions, falls and heat. By registering, the parent or legal guardian understands these risks and voluntarily allows the camper to participate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the parent or legal guardian, on behalf of themselves and the camper, releases and agrees not to sue Teagan Kavan, the camp coaches, staff, volunteers, organizers and the venue for any injury, illness, loss or damage arising from participation in the camp, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The parent or legal guardian is responsible for providing accurate medical and allergy information at registration. If the parent or guardian cannot be reached in an emergency, they authorize camp staff to arrange first aid and emergency medical treatment for the camper and accept responsibility for any related costs.
Photos and video may be taken at camp. We will only use images of a camper on our website, social media or camp promotions if the parent or guardian gives permission during registration. You can withdraw permission for future use at any time by contacting us.
We may need to change the schedule, location or coaches, or postpone or cancel the camp because of weather, field conditions or other circumstances. We will notify registered families by email or text. If we cancel the camp and do not reschedule it, we will refund the camp fee in full. For any other refund or transfer request, please contact us.
If you opt in, we may send camp updates and news by text message to the number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of registration or purchase. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
If you opt in to email, we may send news, camp announcements and offers. Every marketing email includes a link to unsubscribe. We will still send transactional messages, such as registration confirmations and important camp updates, to people who have registered.
This site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We try to keep information accurate and current, but details such as dates, prices and availability can change.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or the camp. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.
